NEW AGE IN THE NEW AGE
What is intelligence? How do we value it?
These days we seem to drift further and further away from our inner vegetation, the way we can all see and feel clearly without having to look to outer validations. Our minds could be seen as infected with the urge for these, the validations which do not make us whole, rather the opposite. Nordic folk tales like Näcken tell us about these urges, the way we always want more – beauty, intelligence – we want to be gifted, we want validation above all. The “devil” in disguise if you will.
Historically, the devil has been told to lie in all that is not pure. Pureness in itself can be deceiving. But perhaps we could learn to absorb our surroundings without being infected. We can let the outer world perform like moisture, balm when we feel lost, deprived of light. Urges of validations can punctuate your mind, but they can also make you aware of a higher state of mind. Separate the urges, wear them on your body, let them be seen and watch them evaporate.
Feel the growth.
